• Australian DNA Hub - DNA Genealogy for Adoptees
• Trove is probably the most useful site. It has most Australian newspapers fully digitized and searchable up to the 1950s (in some cases later than that.)
• Ryerson index for mostly the state of NSW. This covers many newspaper death notices after 1950. You can request a picture of the full notice from a volunteer.
• Note: Privacy laws restrict much information for people on the BDM indexes (deaths before 1990, births before 1920, marriages before 1970).
