The goal of this project is to document the history of our ancestors from Morgan, Greene and Putnam Counties along with information about churches, businesses and pictures of homes of our ancestors existing and non-existing.
Right now this project just has one member, me. I am Cheryl Varner.
Here are some of the tasks that I think need to be done. I'll be working on them, and could use your help.
- list African American businesses, churches, museums, etc
- list pictures of homes where they once lived and/or addresses
- Famous African - Americans from the area
- list cemeteries and names of deceased, if possible
- list European families linked to our ancestors
- link through DNA families from the 3 counties
