regarding a potential reunion of Frank Maupin and his twin brother, James B. Maupin.

Aged Twins Will Be Reunited Here After Long Separation

After 25 years of separation, two brothers, 71-year-old twins, will be reunited here.

The brothers, Frank and James Maupin, will be together soon as a result of the work of local Moose officials, and all because Frank thought his brother dead.

In relating his life to members of the lodge, Frank found a listener in E. M. Woodall, 702 Fiftieth street. Being interested in the case, Mr. Woodall set to work tracing James Maupin, understood to have died at Denver, Col., five years ago.

Through communication with the police and welfare departments in that city, he found that the 71-year-old twin brother was still alive.

Now after 25 years of separation, and for five years each believing the other dead, they are corresponding. Plans are being made by the local lodge to unite them as soon as possible.

The two brothers, born in a small western town, grew up as inseparable pals. Frank married and moved east. The other soon married and also left his old home. They corresponded for years but finally, in moving from one place to another, lost track of each other.

Frank Maupin, being a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, secured a position as caretaker of the local hall, and unknowingly also secured possible happiness for old age – that of companionship of a lost brother.
