Albany Senior High School

Albany Senior High School commenced in 1918 as a district high school in York Street. Subsequently, we moved to the new site on the north western side of Mount Clarence which was officially opened in 1925.
The iconic buildings are a beacon within the City of Albany and are a symbol of success to its thousands of graduates.
The Albany High School began 99 years after the founding of the settlement of Albany in 1826. The foundation stone was laid in 1918, after the end of WWI. The brick building on the present site was opened in 1925. - (via inHerit - and photo) W®
