Parishes
Albufeira is presently composed by four parishes, but historically it had three. The list below contains some useful genealogical information. The patron saint is also included as paroquial records sometimes use it as a synonym for the parish's name.

In 1997 two new parishes were created out of Albufeira – Ferreiras and Olhos de Água – before being made exctinct in 2013. Neither have any parochial records. |
