Aljezur is presently composed by four parishes. The list below contains some useful genealogical information. The patron saint is also included as paroquial records sometimes use it as a synonym for the parish's name.

In 1997 a new parish was created out of Aljezur called Rogil.

Bordeira Bordeira Nossa Senhora da Esperança Records range from 1614 to 1905.[2]

Until 1861 it was part of the municipality of Vila do Bispo.

No coat-of-arms Carrapateira Nossa Senhora da Conceição Records range from 1645 to 1859.[3]

Annexed by Bordeira in 1849.

Odeceixe Odeceixe Nossa Senhora da Piedade Records range from 1683 to 1905.[4]
