This manuscript is the transcription of a number of diaries kept by Alice Kemmis-Betty during her youth. The diary was transcribed while Alice was in Kingstown (currently the Monkstown suburb of Dublin), Co Dublin, Ireland over a three month period beginning on July 10th 1891. The period covered by the manuscript runs from her birth in 1871 until Sept 1887.
