All Births for Loseto, Bari, Italy

The goal of this project is to enter each of the births recorded on Portale Antenati for the town of Loseto in Bari, Italy.

Right now this project just has one member, me. I am Alice Campanella.

The first year of birth records is 1809. I have entered the data into an Excel spreadsheet and then enter the data into Wikitree. I use the Antenati Citer to source the birth record.

I also have been categorizing the records entered by using Category:Loseto, Bari. This way I can keep count of those entered and reconcile them by year to ensure I do not miss any. The records I cannot read (not legible) I also track, in hopes that later I can request assistance from someone more familiar with Italian records than I am at this stage.

When I have completed entering all the births, I will connect them to parents and siblings and eventually to spouses. The death records will also be updated in a separate project.

- As of August 22, 2023, there are 935 Loseto births in wikitree. This represents those from 1809 through 1844.
- As of April 23, 2024, there are 1,266 Loseto births in wikitree. This represents those from 1809 through 1856.

At this stage I do not need assistance. I am making progress each month and will update this project periodically.
