The goal of this project is to connect America St.Clair's line to mine.

Right now this project just has one member, me. I am William St.Clair.

Here are some of the tasks that I think need to be done. I'll be working on them, and could use your help. Verify parents of John Henry St.Clair. Verify birthdate as there are 2 conflicting documents. According to his July 20, 1909 Monroe County West Virginia marriage to Lonie Gearheart, he was 23 which would indicate he was born in 1886 as the marriage took place 6 days after his birthday, July 14. According to his Sept 12,1918 draft registration, his birthdate was July 14, 1884 which is consistent with his stated age of 34.

I have undocumented information indicating America St.Clair is related to me on my mothers side which is Clark. My mothers aunt Leonna Clark married a Gearheart

Here's what I know. John Henry St.Clair was born July 14 1884 or 1886. He married Lonie Gearheart in 1909 in Monroe Count WVa. He registered for the draft in Sept 1918. His children were Malin Lonnie, Vivian, Paul Hunter, Henry Felix, Wilson, Ray, Herman Floyd, all born between 1911 and 1924 in the Giles County Virginia/Mercer County WVa area. The 1890 census was destroyed so there's no record of him there. I can't find him on the 1900 census but he is on the 1910 and 1920 census. I can't find him on the 1930 or 1940 census. He may have died by 1930 but somewhere there may be a 1900 cencus with him and his parents on it.
