Here are some of the sub-projects in the Angier Name Study. There is no particular order. If you are working on one of these sub-projects, please note your progress and add any new tasks that pop up.
Remember, when you work on one sub-project, you may be accomplishing tasks in several. Here are examples: a man born in Massachusetts may appear in the Massachusetts Vital Records, he may have provided patriotic service during the American Revolution and may also appear on the 1790 US Census, or a person who fought in the American Civil War probably appeared on the 1850 US Census, may appear on the 1880 US Census for Ohio, and may also appear on the 1890 Union Veterans' and Widows Schedule. Be sure you document your progress in ALL applicable sub-projects.
