Seal of Roger d'Abernon (d'Abetot) - c. Henry II (1154-1189)

Appended to a charter in which Roger confirms a certain grant of lands at Oxshot, within the manor of Stoke, to the monastery of Waverley. (Add. MS. 5529.) (Only a single "Lion rampant' is visible on the shield)
