from the Sydney based newspaper the Empire, of Monday 18 July 1864 we see: The Government emigrant ship Art Union sailed from Plymouth on the 16th May for Adelaide, having on board 89 married couples, 107 single men, 56 single women, 31 boys and 30 girls between one and twelve years of age, and 13 infants, in all 326 souls.
