From The Express and Telegraph of Thursday 27 July 1876 we see the following

ARRIVED. Wednesday, July 26. Astracan, ship, 1,040 tons, N. W. Paige, from London May 1 ; via Plymouth May 6. Elder, Smith, and Co., agents. Passengers — Dr. Magowan, in: cabin; and 369 assisted immigrants in steerage.
