Auguste and Meline (Ship 1833)

The Barque Auguste and Meline built in Vegesack near Bremen in northern Germany made at least 4 voyages to the Australian colonies between 1848 and 1858

• 1848 from Bremen to South Australia

Sailed from Bremen on the 17th of December 1848 carrying emigrants to the South Australian Colony under Captain Lubcke. Arrived at Port Adelaide on the 2nd of April 1849.

• 1854 from London to Sydney

Sailed from London on the 15th of May arrived at Sydney, New South Wales on the 15th of September, 1854 carrying 13 passengers.

• 1855 from London to Melbourne and Geelong

Sailed on the 12th of August 1855 from London arrived Hobson's Bay in the Victorian Colony on the 26th of November 1855. (no passengers)

• 1858 from London to South Australia

Sailed on the 22nd of May 1858 from London arrived South Australia the 21st of September 1858.
