Hi.

I am wondering if anyone is working on the Bulli mine disaster of 1887. I know this disaster is well documented. I have just found out that I have at least one relative who died in it - Isaiah Poppit. It is also possible that some of Isaiah Poppitt's children may have died directly or indirectly as a result of the disaster. I am currently working on Shropshire and Staffordshire mine disasters in the UK. thanks and best regards, David

Hi David.

Thank you for the work you are doing on Disasters. I discuss this disaster with Gillian Thomas this morning and she has created a new page for it so that it can be worked on. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Bulli_Mine_Disaster_1887
