Richmond Football Club, is a professional Australian Rules Football (AFL) club founded in 1885 in the Melbourne suburb from which it takes its name. Originally part of the Victorian Football Association (VFA), Richmond joined the breakaway Victorian Football League (VFL) in 1908. Its headquarters are based out of the Punt Road Oval (its original home ground) adjacent to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) where its home games are now played. The club fields teams in Senior men (AFL), Senior women (AFL Women's (AFLW)), reserves men (VFL), reserves women (VFLW), and Wheelchair (mixed) (VWFL).
The team's colours are black and yellow.
