Ayers Family Cemetery is just north of AL Hwy 69 on Tabernacle Road. It is across the road from the Tabernacle Cemetery and Bates Family Cemetery. Tabernacle Baptist Church south of the intersection.
When Dr Phyllis Olmstead created the Findagrave cemetery (2014) listing for the family members, county personnel had no notion that the cemetery existed.

Community
Linden is the county seat, a small city in the center of the county of Marengo on the south and west of Alabama. It is a couple of miles to the south of the cemetery. Gallion is a community to the north that straddles Marengo and Hale. It started as plantation. Providence is a small town to the southeast.[3][4]
Property Description
The souls are buried under and around the trees near the intersection. The property is a massive open field with a few trees near the intersection of Tabernacle Road and Alabama Highway 69.
This cemetery is actively used today.

The family matriarch is Minerva (Hall) Ayers (1868-1936) and patriarch is Albert Ayers Jr (1866-1921). Albert is not buried in the cemetery but a tree was planted in his honor. He remarried and had a farm in an adjacent city.

- Harry Ayers (1922-1937), fifteen years old, was next.
- Joe Douglas Ayers (1896-1939), veteran, died of tuberculosis
