Bainbridge Township is one of the sixteen townships of Geauga County, Ohio, United States. Named for Commodore William Bainbridge, it is the only Bainbridge Township statewide. (The city of Bainbridge, Ohio, is located in Ross County, in Southern Ohio). David McConoughey and his family were the first settlers of the township. He moved in on Thanksgiving Day of 1811.
