I have hit a brick wall with Matthias Becker born 24 February 1844 around Volhynia.
He died in Manitoba, Canada on 26 August 1928.
His wife was Gertrude Caoline Muller born around 1840 and died in Manitoba, Canada on 26 December 1908.
I obtained these details from death certificates and the marriage certificate of Johann Becker 1880-1963.
The immigrated to Canada in 1898 (according to CanadianCensus records).
I believe they had 9 children, although not all survived.
I would be grateful for any information anyone could provide about Matthias' parents.
