The name was changed to Latimer Farm from Banks Farm after its sale in 1995, when it stopped being a working farm. At the same extensive internal and landscaping changes were made to the property.

Location

Banks Farm, now Latimer Farm, is located up on top of a hill, via a track past Pasture Farm. Next door and below, and to the north is a second Banks Farm, not to be confused. This farm was Named Banks Farm in the 1884 OS survey, whilst the lower neighbour is unnamed on that map.

1995 -		AFAIK it was a provate residence for a while after being extensively updated and altered. Currently (2023) it is let out as a luxury holiday home	The previous owner had died, and after a short delay the farm and its land was sold off by the sons. The land was bought by the Adams family living at Ash Farm, and Raymond, Janette and Nicholas moved to Aston House, Broadwell

Banks Farm and its land was rented by the Adams family and occupied by Raymond Adams and his family from c,1948 until 1995.

The land associated with the farm was contiguous with the land with Ash Farm, giving about 280 acres with Ash Farm at one end and Banks Farm at the other. When Banks Farm was sold in 1995, the previously rented land was bought by Ash Farm in the name of F.M.Adams & Soms, with the exception of the paddocks immediately surrounding the farm buildings..
