This Barb genealogy is the result of research that started over 120 years ago by Olive Amelia McLaughlin. The book is over 1100 pages and as the title says is a register of some of the descendants of Jacob Barb. The data in the book is reliable, but of course not perfect. I will be using it as an initial source for much information about my family. I am descended from Jacob Barb through at least five lines and the information about my ancestors is generally very good. If your ancestor is mentioned you may want to find other sources to substantiate the information found in this book. The book is available in numerous libraries and a link to the digital version is given.
