History

The Barlow Methodist Church, near Richland, was first built in 1873. The original building burned before it was dedicated, and immediately rebuilt. Reverend R. Lancaster was the first pastor, followed by Revs. Demaree and Chamberlain.^[1]

• Directions: Travel US 27 North through Cynthiana toward Falmouth KY for about 6 miles. Turn Right onto Lower Curry Road and drive about 1/2 mile; then left on Grover Criswell Road for about 1 mile. Turn Right onto Blackburn Road for 1/2 mile; then left onto Oddville-Sunrise Road for a mile and a half. Finally, turn right onto Barlow Road for 1/2 mile. The church and cemetery are on the right.
