Geography
- Barony in southwest County Cork in the area of the town of Skibbereen.

History
- Ruled by the Carbery Family for centuries.
- Subject to the British Crown until 1922.
- Founded by the British after taking control in the famous Battle of Castlehaven, 1601; Sack of Baltimore, 1602, and the Battle of Kinsale, 1602.
