Welcome to the Bartlett Name Study, which is a part of the greater WikiTree One Name Studies Project.

The Goals of this study are to:

• Gather everything about the surname Bartlett and its variants into one place which will provide an indexed resource for those researching the family lines.
• Compare and Merge duplicated profiles and identifying the reasons why (i.e.: Spelling variations, etc) the duplicate was created.
• Resolve family line issues caused by incorrect sources
• Connect all WikiTree profiles with the surname of Bartlett or one of its variants to the worldwide tree
• Add Sources to all profiles that are currently unsourced or improperly sourced
• Cleanup of biographies, writing clean narratives, and eliminating GEDCOM clutter. Please put in the biographies the main profile that did upload the GEDCOM. They have the right to be recognized for their hard work prior to us adding or taking information.
• Share stories, pictures, etc to enrich our common ancestry and to get to know each other

The main hope for this study is that this will help in all of us connecting and learning about our ancestry and each other. To make it easier to find the resources that we need to be able to move further.

To join the Bartlett Name Study and collaborate on researching the various family lines:

1. Ask the overall One Name Studies Project leaders, Doug or Alison, to award you the One Name Studies Project Member badge.
2. Add one_name_studies to your list of followed tags. That way you'll see all one name study discussions in your G2G Feed.
3. Add bartlett_name_study to your list of followed tags. That way you'll see all the Bartlett Name Study - specific discussions in your G2G Feed.
4. Contact the Bartlett Name Study Coordinator, Sherry Bartlett to participate in the Bartlett Name Study specifically.
