  • 1914 John W Burns, proprietor of the Beach Hotel, commits suicide.[7]

  • 1923: Beach Inn became Hotel Pelican, re-named by the Kubackis, the new owners.[8]
  • 1926 The hotel caught fire[9]
  • 1927/8 Frank Susedik, with his daughter Mary and her husband Fred Chermak, bought the property the year after the fire.[10]

  • 1934-1970 Fred and Mary Chermak took over and changed the name to The New Pelican Lake Hotel.
  • 1970 The Old Pelican Lake Hotel - Mr. and Mrs. Rowe and Mr. and Mrs. O'Gorman
