This is the last Will and Testament of me Isaac Beardsley of Shottle in the parish of Duffield in the county of Derby farmer made this fifteenth day of February one thousand eight Hundred and one
First I will and direct that all my just debts funeral expences and the expence of proving this my will be fully paid and discharged by my executors hereafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease
First I give and bequeath the Tenant right and possession of the Farm I now hold under his Grace the Duke of Devonshire unto my Son William Beardsley hoping that he will permit Ruth Beardsley my Wife to reside therein along with him during the Term of her natural Life
And I give and bequeath all my ready Money Securities for Money Mortgages Bonds Notes unto my Son William Beardsley and Philip Yeomans & the Survivor of them and the executors and administrators of such Survivor Upon the Trusts and for the several intents and purposes hereinafter mentioned
Upon Trust to pay the Interest and proceed of such Sums from time to time as the same shall be received unto my said Wife Ruth for and during the Term of her natural Life
And in case my said Wife Ruth shall wish to live apart from my said Son then it is my Will that an Inventory of all the quick and dead Stock upon my farm be fairly made & taken & that my said Son William Beardsley shall and do pay Interest for the amount thereof after the rate of five pounds per cent per annum unto my said wife during the Term of her natural life or for so long time as she shall live separate and apart from my said Son
And from and immediately after her decease then Upon Trust that they my said Trustees shall and do call in the said Principal Sums and pay the same in the proportions and manner following that is to say
the sum of Forty Pounds unto my daughter Ruth Redfern
the further Sum of Forty Pounds unto my daughter Mary Harrison
The further Sum of Forty Pounds unto my daughter Martha Winson
and the sum of Twenty Pounds unto Jane Beardsley the daughter of my daughter Ruth Redfern
And the further Sum of Forty Pounds unto my daughter Hannah Cauldwell Wife of Joseph Cauldwell And it is my will and mind and I do direct that the receipt of my said daughter Hannah notwithstanding her Coverture shall be a sufficient discharge for the same
And I do hereby direct that the said several Legacies or sums of Money shall be paid within one year next after the decease of my said Wife Ruth
And I give and devise the Copyhold dwelling house or Tenement with the Appurtenances situate at Milners Green in the parish of Wirksworth for and during the Term of her natural Life and from and immediately after her decease I give and devise the same unto my Son William Beardsley and Philip Yeomans and their Heirs In Trust to sell and dispose of the same and the Monies arising from Sale thereof I will and direct shall be paid to and equally divided amongst my Grand Children Isaac Beardsley Mary Beardsley Hannah Beardsley Ann Beardsley Martha Beardsley and Ruth Beardsley equally between them share and share alike
And after Payment of all my just debts Legacies or Sums of Money above mentioned and funeral expences I Give and bequeath All the Rest residue and remainder of my personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever unto my said Son William Beardsley his executors Administrators and assigns for ever
And I Give and bequeath unto the said Philip Yeomans the sum of Five Pounds as an acknowledgment for the Trouble he may have in the execution of this my Will
And I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Son William Beardsley and the said Philip Yeomans joint Executors of this my Will hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made I publish and declare this only to be my last will and testament
In Witness whereof I the said Testator Isaac Beardsley have hereunto set and put my hand and seal the day and year first above written

Let a Probat of this Will be granted to William Beardsley and Philip Yeomans the Joint Executors therein named.
They being first duly sworn, and also that the personal Estate of the deceased does not amount to 600£
