The voyage of the immigrant ship Benan to the South Australian Colony in 1876
The ship Benan left Plymouth on 19 February 1876 and arrived in Port Adelaide on the 13th of May 1876.
BENAN, ship, 1,338 tons, James Ross, master, from London February 10, Plymouth February 19, Elder, Smith, and Co., agents. Town and Port. Passengers—Dr. Sweetnam, RN., Surgeon Superintendent, and Miss Davidson, Matron, in the cabin; 378 immigrants in the steerage.
