The Iron ship BENAN was built in Glasgow in 1875 by Barclay. She made numerous voyages to the Australian and New Zealand colonies between 1875 and 1888.


From Plymouth on 19 February 1876 and arriving at Port Adelaide on the 13th of May 1876.
Possibly a second voyage to the same port in 1877.
From Britain Saturday, November 25, 1882 and arriving at Port Chalmers in New Zealand on Thursday, February 22, 1883
