Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
Bethlehem is a city in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. In 1741 small group of Moravians settled on the banks of the Lehigh River near the Monocacy Creek. That same year the Moravians' patron, Count Nicholas Ludwig von Zinzendorf of Saxony, Germany, visited the new settlement. The Count christened the community "Bethlehem".
