Right now this project just has one member, me. I am Elizabeth Franklin.
Initially a small Anglo-Saxon settlement thought to be named for being the homestead ‘ingaham’ of ‘Billa’s’ people, the area was traditionally part of County Durham. Billingham now forms part of the borough of Stockton-on-Tees.
By the 19th century Billingham was a small village, becoming the home of many wives, husbands, and children who attended its church and worked in its farms and later factories.

I do not see this in our list of official One Place Study Projects here on WikiTree. Would you like for this location to become a part of our Project?
Just let me know and I can get it setup for you to include a OPS sticker for profiles.
Thanks,
