History

Birchy Cove was a community on the Bay of Islands, Newfoundland. It was also known as Curling. It merged with Humbermouth, Newfoundland, Humber West, and Townsite, to form the current city of Corner Brook in 1956. It was centered around railway and industrial operations[1].
