History
Absalom Sharpe lived in Adams Co, MS. His home plantation was Cedar Grove Plantation.
Absalom Sharpe also owned a plantation called Bonne Ridge, or The Bon, on the Tensas river in Catahoula Parish Louisiana. Very little is known about this plantation except that Absalom Sharpe did not live there. After his death this plantation and the enslaved on it went to the brothers and sisters of Absalom Sharpe.[1]
