Kevin, the best of how I understand system, is that the Archibald I'm referring to is Campbell- 30559. on Wiki pages. This Archibald is son of Malcolm Campbell 1717 Augusta (Big Lick) and brother to my William. Hope this helps. The Rev. Dr. Ronny W. Dower.

Definitely helps. I have so many Campbells in my head right now it is a little hard keeping them all straight.

Ronny,

I do not see Malcom's son William attached to Malcom Campbell-30560. The only child listed for Malcom and Isabella is Archibald. How would you feel about creating profiles for Archibald's siblings or at least William's line at minimum? Currently you are the most qualified to do that. If not if you know of a reliable genealogy of William's line.

Kevin, I've just entered William Campbell son of Malcolm but not connected him yet because I need to word correctly the proof. William is Campbell-60153, his son John by wife Elizabeth Rebecca McDonald (I can't document this yet). This John, the old Pioneer, is Campbell-60152. John's sons are Leroy (Campbell-3425) spouse Nancy Petty (From headstones), Robert (my ancestor) (Campbell-60155), and Rev. Clack R. (Campbell-60154) spouse Lucy Petty. John, Leroy & Nancy, Clack & Lucy are buried in Fairview Cem. Roanoke VA. They were originally buried in Campbell I Cemetery Roanoke on property Malcolm deeded to son William. William was married 2nd time to Susanna Dabney and had a second son John M. who married Mary Gish 1 Jul 1819 Botetourt Co. VA. I've not added Thomas eldest son of William mentioned in Wm's brother Archibald's (both sons of Malcolm) LW&T which I have. Wm first married Elizabeth Rebecca McDonald (ended in divorce, as recorded) & soon after William married Susanna Dabney. I'm sure this muddies the small mud puddle we stand in. I'll work on connecting Malcolm to sons, Archibald and William at earliest. Thank you for what you've done are are undertaking. Since I'm not DNA material, all I can do is shuffle the paperwork. Appreciate your help on this. Go ahead and get William connected to his father and add the rest of his sons. You commented on the Augusta and Botecourt documents pages. Can you do me a favor and email me a list of which documents you identified by date to which profiles the belong to and I will add a link from the documents page to the persons profile. Feel free to use the documents to add sources to the profiles you are working on.

Kevin, I note an implied error in Archibald Campbell's Will "Comments Section" for 14 Mar 1775.

From photo copy I made of Botetourt Co. VA Will Book A pg. 78, it reads: "I (Archibald) give & bequeath to my Brother William Campbell's oldest son Thomas Campbell." This differs from comments, "William oldest son of Thomas Campbell." Siblings referred to are children of Malcolm Campbell of 1763 Augusta Co. From Malcolm to Archibald, area in question is transferred from Augusta Co. to Botetourt Co. Thank you. The Rev'd. Dr. Ronny W. Dower.

Thanks for catching that. I have updated the comments for that record. Do you know the profile id of Archibald so I can attach it?
