History/Timeline
- Bourbon County was formed in 1785 from part of Fayette County, Virginia. It was named after the French House of Bourbon.
Government Offices
- The original courthouse was destroyed by fire in 1872.
- The second courthouse was built between 1786 and 1787.
- The third courthouse was built in 1799.
- The current and 4th courthouse was built in 1902 – 1905 on landscaped grounds in the center of Paris.
- The County Judicial Center was built in Paris in 2002 – 2003.

- Bourbon County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. Its county seat is Paris.
