The voyage of the ship Branken Moor to the South Australian Colony in 1849

The ship "Branken Moor" left London on Friday, March 23, 1849, arriving at Port Adelaide, South Australia on Monday, July 2, 1849, via Plymouth. Captain John James was it's Master and Thomas Ward Boswood its Surgeon-superintendent and carrying 155 government emigrants in the steerage. Some records list her departure date as early as the 12th of March 1849.
