Hello. I would like to join the project, as I descend from the Briands who were part of the Manakin Huguenot settlement in Virginia. Edith Chandler née Bryant (Bryant-2581) is my paternal 3rd-great-grandmother; she descends from Jacques Briand (Briand-29) who arrived at the Manakin settlement in 1700. Their surname was later anglicized to Bryant, which is the surname most of their descendants use today.
