In the name of God Amen. The Nineteenth day of July Anno dom 1681

I William Brunt of the Heys Head in the parish of Allstonefeild and County of Stafford husbandman being weake in body but of perfect mind & memory praised byy Allmighty God doe make and ordayne this my last will and testament in maner and forme following

First I bequeath my soule into the handes of Allmighty God my maker hopeing that through the meritorious death and passion of Jesus Christ my onely Saviour and Redeemer to receive free pardon and remission of all my sins, and as for my body to be buried in Christian buriall at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter nominated

Item I give unto my Daughter Ann one shillinge

Item I give unto my Daughter Mary one shillinge

Item all the rest of house goods, cattell, rents, and tenements whatsoever I give unto Elizabeth my loveing wife for terme of her naturall life, and after her decease I give and bequeath unto my Grandchild William Brunt all the ground beneath the house wherein I now dwell, and the barne standing upon the said ground, if the right Worshipfull Sir John Harpur be soe pleased

Item I give and bequeath unto Mary my Daughter Abovesaid the house wherein I now dwell and all the ground I hold by Lease from the right Wor.ll Sir John Harpur Abovesaid about the said house

Dying I Constitute and appoynt Elizabeth my Loveing wife sole Executrix of this my last (sic) and testament revokeing all former wills promises or testaments whatsoever In Witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand & seale the day & yeare first above written
