In the Name of God Amen: I John Bryan In the parish of Sutton on the Hill & in the County of Derby Husbandman: being very weak in Body but of Perfect mind & Memory Thanks be given unto God: Do make this my last will & Testament in manner and form following that is to say first of all, it is my will and mind, that all my Just Debts and funeral Expences, be honestly paid & discharg'd by my Executors hereafter named Also I give and bequeath to Thomas Turner the sum of ten pounds to be paid him at the age of Twenty one, & if the said Thomas Turner should die before the age of Twenty one then I give it unto my well beloved Daughter Catherine Bryan likewise I give unto my said Daughter all the Over plus, Rest and remainder of my Personal Estate of what kind soever and wheresoever, after all Charges is paid in Bringin up my said Daughter to be paid her at the age of Twenty one & if it should appen she should die before the age of Twenty one and should leave a Child or Children behind her then It to be divided between them if there should be more than one, and if there should be but one then that Child should have it; and in Case my said Daughter should die before the age of Twenty one & Leave no Child or Children then its my will after all Charges is paid to my Executors in Bringin up my Daughter all the Over plus, Rest and remainder be Divided between my Brother James Bryan and my sister Susans of Manchester childrins & Thomas Turner to Be divided Shar & Shar alike and I Do Constitute and appoint my father in Lawe Francis Oliver & my Brother in Lawe Peter Turner to be Executors of this my last will & Testament & I do appoint my sister Mary Turner & Mr Jno Payne to be Trustees with my Executors & to have the Care of Bringin up my said Daughter I Do Ratify & Confirm this to be my Last will & Testament made & Executed this 17 day of September 1754
