Hi Liza, I'm excited to hear you've started this OPS. We will likely intersect a fair bit as I have a lot of Hendy's in my ONS who from Buckfastleigh :-)

Hi Susie, I did see that there was a Hendy ONS. I would appreciate any help I can get. I came across this place from doing some other work recently. I was intrigued by the name. I actually live in Ontario, Canada.

I'll be glad to help! Where were you thinking of starting? I had a quick look, and there are 3,950 living in Buckfastleigh at the time of the 1911 Census: https://www.familysearch.org/search/record/results?count=20&q.anyPlace=Buckfastleigh%2C%20Devon%2C%20England%2C%20United%20Kingdom&q.anyPlace.exact=on&f.collectionId=1921547 We could start in 1921, but that would depend on whether or not you have a subscription to FindMypast. Are you working on any other One Place Studies? If so, do you use Google spreadsheets? I'm here to help in any way I can.

Susie :-)
