It was built in 1892 by Jacob Kolb, who was a joiner by trade. He and his family lived there until the death of his wife Anna Lambrix Kolb in 1932.

From 1892 until 1925 it was a single home.

In 1925 William Lambrix and family were living there with Anna. (Not sure if it was two family at this time.)

In 1930 a family by the name of Moore were renting from Anna

In 1940 both the Ralph Hodges and Leo Basher families were renting apartments. Up until and including the 1940 census the address was 11 Burwell. I still need to find out when that was changed

Some time after Anna's death in 1932 Mason Martin bought the home.

Frederick and Jeanne Wood bought it from Mason in the 40's for less than $1000.00.
