Goal

The goal of this Team is to make all County profiles the best that they can be. It is our desire to leave a lasting legacy of work for future generations by sourcing, connecting and growing our County branches of the tree.

Tasks

The following links are to profiles which need attention and have a connection to Caernarfonshire. Connections typically can be Birth Place, Death Place or Marriage Location.

Additional Lists

see Commemorative Plaques in Wales for those who have been recognised for their achievements

This is a link to the Wales Maintenance Categories which can be used to help find profiles that need some work.

Please add these to profiles if required so we can work on improving them.

If it was likely that the person was in Caernarfonshire at some point in their life use that category rather than just Wales.

Notables

Please use this search

If you wish to improve the Notables then you can use the Bio Check app to highlight those that may require some attention.

My Caernarvonshire ancestry revolves around Nefyn, Morfa Nefyn, and Edern and research has taken me back to 1752 so far

That's fantastic Eunice,

Would you help us by categorising your profiles with the place category. You can do this by clicking on categories icon above the Edit Text box. This is the icon next to the capital C (for Cite) on the right.

When you do this a little box opens, if you then start to write Nefyn it will prompt you with either Nefyn or Morfa Nefyn. It's a bit more tricky with Edern. We have chosen to use the old spelling Edeyrn as used by Vision of Britain. This will also prompt you with St Edyrn's churchyard which you can also add iff you know they were buried there. (You will need to provide a source for that info such as FindAGrave)

I have taken the liberty of adding the category Holywell to Edwards-24725. Thus, Mary Ann can now be found with other Holywell profiles. Keep up the good work! Steve
