Recognizances to the king for 400 m. each, on condition that John Dawetry of Southampton pay 200l. at Christmas, 1501, 1502, 1503, 1504 and 1505, respectively, by the said John jointly with the following (all of London): (i) Ralph Bukberd ‘taillour’ and Thomas Creme draper, (ii) Edmund Dudley gentleman and John Rudston draper, (iii) Henry Ivy ‘sherman’ and Alfred Raweson mercer, (iv) William Considue grocer and Nicholas Warying salter, (v) William Bottry and Thomas Guynege mercers, and (vi) by John alone on condition that he find substitutes for any of the others if need be.
Cancelled by warrants under sign-manual dated, respectively, 17, 18, 19, (?)20 (in keeping with Mr. Baynbrig), 21 and 21 Henry VII.
