A question posted on Lincolnshire - Ancestors and Genealogy fb group. Perhaps someone in this group can help? It's a topic that I'm also interested in.

"Hello.... looking for a bit of help.... has anyone found any good sources of general or specific information about Lincolnshire residents moving abroad during the 19th century especially to Canada... there seems to have been a fair few from the village I study, it seems there were some adverts in the papers, so probably a company or organisation promoting it....? I have seen an agent in Laceby mentioned called John White....."
