I recommend adding the following lines to the structure template:

|startdate= |enddate= |succ1text= |succ1next1= |succ1prev1=

The succession feature is handy if a place changes name or when several places are merged into one. For example: https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Category:Kooringa%2C_South_Australia&action=edit

I have used the feature to add a CIB for York's Hollow
