Census Chart Data
NOTE FOR CHART: The purpose of this chart was to show that the pre-1850 census records used as sources for this profile belonged to Ashbel Fuller Sr. It also served to help estimate the date of birth for Loraine and show the need for an explanation regarding the 1830 US Census:
- 1830 census data inconsistency : The 1830 Census page with Ashbel's data (line 6) also has 5 other Fullers enumerated as HOHs:
- Heman line 4 2 males and 1 female - Heman, his wife, Amelia Dawson, and possibly a son who died before 1840.
- Stilman line 5 3 males and 1 female -
- Sheldon line 14 3 males and 3 females -
- Ashbel Jr line 15 3 males and 2 females
- Philo line 22 2 males and 2 females - Philo, his wife, Betsey Walker, son, Armintus, and daughter, Araminta.
- There are 3 listings that I can't locate family members: 1 male and 1 female aged 26-29 and 1 maie aged 5-9. Only 1 child was between 26 and 29 and two others were just 1 yr older/younger:
- Philomela, 25, who was married 1824 to Lewis Hurlburt and their children in 1830 were both under 5. This is not the family listed as "id unk's" in the above chart.
- Philo, 28, who was married in 1822 and listed as HOH in Fowler, New York. His family can be eliminated as the 3 "id unk's".
- Hiram, 30, who was married 1821 in Connecticut to Eleline Hatch, 26, but they had more than one child in 1830. The 3 "id unk's" were not this family.
Since there are no children living with their elderly parents then they could have been other relatives or servants or boarders. More research is needed. Fuller-5853 13:52, 4 December 2016 (EST)
