Investigation into the parents of Maria Josepha Velraeds (1835-1907)

Issue: The birth certificate was written initially for parents named Hendrik Velraeds and Maria Catharina Barwasser. The last name of the mother was later changed to Arets.

The age of the father mentioned in the birth certificate is 42 and the occupation is werkman. The actual age of the Arets-Hendrik would be 45. The age of the Barwasser-Hendrik would be 27. The age of Arets-Hendrik seems to match better

Discrepancies

Presence of the parents at the marriage in 1860 being 55 and 57 years of age when Maria Aretz already passed away in 1845 and Hendrik Velraed would have been 70 and not 55. The ages would match with the couple Velraeds-Barwasser.
