Voyage of the Immigrant ship CHINA to the South Australian Colony in 1847
She sailed from London 29 Aug 1847 via Plymouth - arrived at Port Adelaide on 14 Dec 1847. Captain E.W. Lively and George Bull, Esq., M.D., Surgeon-superintendent, carrying 231 Government immigrants.
The CHINA is a splendid barque arrived with 231 emigrants, namely 74 male adults, 81 female adults, 49 male children and 36 female children.
