Labelled on the back by Nancy McLellan Merritt, but the picture was damaged when removed from the frame. Writing is missing.
The Wrights were a Quaker family that settled in Cass County, Michigan. They intermarried with the East family, as well, who were another local Quaker family in the same area. Many of the Wrights are buried amonst the Easts in the Birch Lake Cemetery, Cass County, Michigan.
