Hi, Iam putting a Percy Coates ID 3783 born Batley Yorks born abt 1876. Lived in North Curry Somerset had 2 girls neither married or had issue. His father was a William born abt 1832 . On the 1881 census the family is in Batley yorks . My question is , is this the same William Coates ID3783. My connection to Percy is his daughter known as Brev was extremely close friend of my grandfather with consequence that Percy wife and other daughter were always known as Uncle and Aunt .
