Location: Leonville, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, USA
This is a group of photographic negatives found in the papers of Myrtle Adelia Coles Rivette. They were in an old format, each negative sized about 3.5" by 4.5". They were obviously not taken by Myrtle, who is depicted in several of them as a young girl, probably late-1910s to early 1920s. It's assumed they were taken by her mother, since most of her mother's personal belongings ended up with Myrtle.
All of the photos attached to this page are of unidentified people, and all appear to have been taken during about the same timeframe. They were probably relatives or friends of the family, visiting the family farm in Leonville, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, USA.
I would love to hear from anyone who can identify the people in these photos, or can estimate their ages!
